All music electives are busy on their repertoire for the culminating concert on April 26th at 6:30 PM. The 7/8 band is working on songs by the Beatles, Jackson 5 and Kenny Loggins. The percussion elective will present a wide variety of percussion music including a favorite from a popular TV show.
This week, students started to work with this year's Britt Nelson visiting artist Gunnel Sahlin.
Improv and Devising students are currently working with Trinity Rep resident actor, Gordon parent, and improviser extraordinaire Mauro Hantman in three master classes designed to build on skills developed throughout the semester.
Ready, Set, Design! students have self-selected into three backstage disciplines: set and props design, wardrobe design, and technical design. Each area is developing sketches and either rough 3-dimensional models or concept boards for the design elements needed for the 3rd/4th grade presentation of A Year with Frog & Toad. Students will then begin to build the physical pieces needed to bring the play to production.
